Manchester legend: De Bruyne’s pass is like Beckham
Former Manchester United (MU) defender Gary Neville compares Manchester City star quality Kevin De Bruyne with Manchester United legend David Beckham. According to Neville, De Bruyne has a pass like Beckham.
De Bruyne made two assists when The Citizens beat Liverpool with a landslide score 5-0. Neville admired the foresight of the Belgian international midfielder so as to be able to make assists like Beckham.
“Kevin De Bruyne has a sensational quality, he really has it, I’ve played with an accurate ball feeder and passer – David Beckham – and De Bruyne reminds me of him,” Neville said as quoted from the Sports Mole page.
De Bruyne has an important role in the squad Pep Guardiola. The former Chelsea player is difficult to replace in Manchester City midfield since first arriving at the Etihad Stadium in the summer of 2015.
Last season he became the largest assists pengoleksi in the English League with 18 times. MU was linked with De Bruyne before the player moved to Manchester City.
“He did it intentionally and appropriately, it seems every passenger landed at the point he was really headed to the recipient,” Neville said.
“De Bruyne has quality and accuracy, David Beckham like that, very happy to see him,” he explained.
